Well, whiteboard is a great tool to make it happen. It can be 2d animated, but also performed at the site.

The most interesting fact for me is that all the art is simplified, you can really focus on the core value of each scene and the colours are generally used minimally. There can be humour, strong facts, imaginary characters, a story inside a story, and all that in order to express, explain a teach.
